decided to start my new post with what happened in TAIWAN.
i don have lots of pics so i hope what i'm writting is enough
hahaha

18th May
we took the 1pm flight to Taipei
and i have to say its really been awhile since i took a plane
man
it was really quite exciting
right after that we headed to take a bus
and then the GAO TIE or bullet train
its really quite cool
its not like our MRT as u are allowed to eat on the train
even order food and drinks on board
after that train ride we had to take another train ( something like our MRT )
instead of using cards to tap, we had these little tokens.
hahahah
on the ride, we wanted to take a group pic
i guess we didnt really want to bother ppl
so we got one of our guys to sit out to take the pic
but then
this guy who was sitting close to us offered to help us take the pic
wow.... i was really quite amazed that a stranger would just offer

finally reached KAOSIUNG
we checked into this place called Jing Ma Lu Guan
quite scary actually
then we headed to the nearest night market
decided to try Taiwan's famous STINKY TOFU
ok
i didnt think it smelled bad
but
OMG OMG OMG
the taste was freaking horrible
*yuck*
i'm never trying it again

19th May
had a quick break fast at a near by shop
yummmm
the beef noddles were really good
after that we took a coach down to KENDING
its a seas side area and the people there can be really really nice

we checked into Hong Bing Shan Zhuang
then changed into our swimwear,
packed a small bag and headed to play some watersports
before the fun began we had to dress in a full suit
hahha
i felt like some superhero or something

first on the list was snorkling
the water was really clear so we could see all the way down to the sea bed

second we had a go on the scooter (hmm.. is this the way to spell it?)
OMG the guy who was driving it was crazy
he kept swiving left and right
and cos i was sitting right at the back
i felt as though i was gonna fly off any min
AHHHHHHHHH

third a simple boat ride
the captain drove us around and intro the islands to us
becos it was the late afternoon
the sky was a dark blue with a hint of yellow

fourth my fav part of it all
the BANANA BOAT
ahhahaha
the eight of us took it first
it was a really rocky ride
but the screaming and the air blowing in our faces made the ride really fun
then the boat would take a sharp turn
and all of us will fall off the boat
and drink some sea water (yuck)
hahaha
but it was so fun i took it 4 of out 4 times
hahaha

lastly, we fed the fishes
they were so cute
slowly they would be attracted by the bread in our hands and start to nibble on it
ahhhhh
one of them mistakened my hand for the bread and nibbled on me instead
ok la
not painful at all

the guy in charge of us was really nice
he told us that we shld come early the next day
becos
we may get a chance to see dolphins
awwwwwww
but the problem was that the weather was very unpredictable
so we had to call in tml to see if we can actually take the boat out
ohhhh... i cant wait

after a quick shower we had dinner at the nearest seafood resturant
how can you miss out on the fresh seafood esp the fresh sashimi
mmmmmmmmmmmm
good food
then we headed into the streets to do some street side shopping
hahahaz i got myself a bracelet and a cute croc toy
even got to know this cute little boy
he gave a piece of wire to this sunglass shop owner
and asked him to make a pair of glasses for him
hahahah he was so cute (took a pic with him)
we got attracted to this club which was really happening
not becos of the music or the DJ
it was a pole dancing club
they have a hot babe, a hunk and a trans
we got in late so we had no choice but to sit RIGHT IN FRONT
OMG
the scary yet exciting part was not the pole dancing
it was the part when the dancers stripped the audience
the 'hot babe' stripped this guy and then poured ice water down his butt crack
and then dripped hot wax on him
the 'hunk' stripped a gal's bra
then stripped this guy down and cover his **** with a coaster
slowly the stuff used to cover got smaller
then he was asked to choose between a small cocktail umb and a piece of tissue
he chose the tissue
then he was asked to choose between lighting it on fire or pouring water on to it
he chose the light it
just before the whole paper light up, the 'hunk' extinguished it
OMG

20th May
early in the morning we took a lorry
and headed to play some gold cart racing
hahaha
i have to say i'm not gonna be a good driver

right after that we took a bus down to SI CONG XI
HOT SPRINGS HERE I COME
we checked into the Fennel Resort hot spring
OMG
we weren't staying in some hotel rooms
we had our own little huts
and OMG its GORGEOUS
then we changed into our swimwear again and headed to the hot springs
awwwwwwwwww
relaxing

after a quick shower we headed to the near by resturant and had some dinner
at the same time we sang some KTV
hahahaz

21st May
took Taiwan's oldest train down to TAINAN
and did some sight seeing
we ate little snacks here and there
visited some temples
one of which was the temple which housed the God of Education
Lan Yan and i decided to get a 'tag' to write our wishes to the God of Education
after that we head to a 'near by' shopping centre
there was this sales girl
she was trying to sell us some concealer
and i have to say
she was realli good
cos all of us gals got one each
hahahah
after that we headed back to our hotel and makaned some more

22nd May
took a train down to SUN MOON LAKE
before our coach ride came
we actually got to talk to the police
no we didnt do anything wrong
we just got to place our bags there
and then the cops there were nice enough to have a chat with us
after that we headed to the near by arcade and played some games to pass the time

our coach came to the police station to pick us up
then we took a really long ride up the hill to our hotel
there, we were introduced to some tea
then we had some shao ju food near the harbour
mmmmmmm
i seriously think that anywhere you go in taiwan
you get to try really good food
yum yum
then we made our way back to the hotel
and i learnt bridge
hmmmm
ok
its tougher than i thought it would be

23rd May
took a Sun Moon lake cruise
ohhhh
we visited some temples which were located on different islands
then we got a chance to see a 'sacred island'
it was said that most of its island sank
so they tried to salvage the remaining by building a wooden walkway
when u get there, you would see these 2 trees
one flourished while the other was bare
and you couldnt walk on the 'sacred lands' or touch it

after that we watched some traditional dance before heading for a land tour
on the land tour we saw some temples including one with housed Kong Zi

at the end of the day we reached TAIPEI
checked into Camel Oasis hostel
(freaking hard to find)
and headed to the ye shi to have dinner

24th May
hmmmmmmm
here we go the JIU FEN PU
ok i dono how to spell it
u can call it: nine shit
hahahah
this place is a little different
we needed to take a bus ride up
its really quite a complicated place but
there, we shopped and shopped and shopped
i even got a musical instrument
its made of porcelain (i think)
the guy who owned the shop played tons of songs for us using that instrument
and man... wow
hahahahz
and ate and ate and ate.
then we headed to SHILING
ate and shopped even more before
we headed back to the hostel to play some more bridge

25th May
Champ leaves today
went to WU FEN PU
(five shit)
at first
i couldnt find anything there
haiz
the clothes there were realli too small
but then
at the last 30min there
I FOUND NICE CLOTHES
wheeeeeeeeeeeee
after eating some steamboat we went to ROU HE
another place to shop till you drop

26th May
went XIMENTING
while Lan Yan, Ash and Cat had their nails done,
Lan Pei and i went on a wild goose chase to find Xiao Ju's shop
OMG
OMG
OMG
its hot, the place is messy and we got lost
after asking tons of ppl
and after a long time,
we finally found the shop
alamak
there was nothing there
as in
nothing nice
alamak
so u made our way back to the nail palour
and we got our nails done
i did french acryllic nails which were shimmery purple
and then had drawn on lace and pasted flowers
aw man.... i wish i could keep them longer
but i think once i get back i'll need to remove them
(piano exam) :(
so after that we walked around ximenting
oh ya, all of us had problems doing stuff with our new nails
it was damn hard to button and un-button stuff
we couldnt take out money to pay for stuff
we couldnt remove contacts properly either
hahahahaha
the worst part was that we had to pack our bags
hahahahaha
before the night ended we went to party world
its a whole building btw
and KTV the whole night till like i think 3 or 4 am
and i have to say i'm starting to really like KTV and chinese songs

27th May
last day today.
we headed to have some xiao long bao at ximenting
walked awhile more before heading back to nour hostle to do our finally packing
and finally took a cab down to TAIPEI airport
BYE TAIWAN
i cant wait to head back
